An Chéadaoin

Wednesday. The middle of the week. The day after Tuesday, and the day before Thursday. In Spanish, they call today miércoles. In Celtic, it’s An Chéadaoin. I didn’t know that until I looked it up on Wikipedia.

The problem with Wednesdays is that, being the middle of the story and all, oftentimes they’re suspended in the midst of nothingness. The weeks when one’s story lacks any real plotline. Or else Wednesday is just a repeat of the previous chapter, Tuesday. And if Tuesday was a mere repeat of Monday, then you have yourself an unfortunately unfavourable book.

If this is the case, it’s probably advisable to put it down and go do something more interesting. Like colouring in.

Mercredi, in French, but you already knew that.
